The attraction of staying on the University of Limerick Campus

Sports Facilities
The University of Limerick, known as Ireland’s Sports Campus, has excellent facilities for a great diversity of sports.  In addition to the 50 metre swimming pool and well-equipped gym there are four indoor courts for volleyball, basketball or indoor soccer. There is a 225m suspended running track,  as well as numerous pitches for rugby, soccer and Gaelic games.  All of these facilities are available on a pay-as-you-go basis.

For those with an interest in architecture , there is a variety of building types and designs on campus ranging from Plassey House (also known as the White House) an 18th century Palladian mansion to the 21st century prize winning Medical School building.

University Concert Hall, where the Sunday concert takes place, is a 1000 seater facility which hosts national and international concerts, musicals, drama and dance events each year. The campus is dotted with fountains and sculpture, and the visitor can also enjoy the several art collections housed in the university.
