We are very excited to announce that world-renowned vocal ensemble THE SWINGLES will perform at the Opening Gala Concert of Limerick Sings 2024 on Friday 7th June. The group will also host a workshop that afternoon to share their vast knowledge and experience with our Festival singers. We can’t wait to welcome The Swingles to the Festival for the first time!

BERNIE SHERLOCK will direct the Limerick Sings 2024 Festival Choir at Outdoor Chorus at Cliffs of Moher on Saturday 8th June. She will be joined by members of her award-winning chamber choir NEW DUBLIN VOICES. We are looking forward to welcoming Bernie back to
Limerick Sings, in person for the first time since 2018!
We are so delighted to be bringing the Festival Choir back to Cliffs of Moher after our thrilling 2023 visit with over 260 singers, which you can see HERE! The Choir is made up of all the choirs and singers taking part in the 2024 Festival, who will rehearse with Bernie
before travelling to the Cliffs.

choir bookings are now open for our 2024 Festival!
Limerick Sings 2024 will take place on 7th-9th June, and we are already looking forward to another wonderful weekend packed full of singing, sightseeing, new friends, and fun! We can’t wait to share our plans with you, and we will be making announcements over the coming weeks, so watch this space.

Limerick City, Ireland's oldest chartered city dating from the 12th Century, has a long and very fine tradition of choral tradition and a very fine tradition of choral singing, opera and musical theater, with many choral groups existing and performing for decades. Limerick Sings extends a warm welcome to choirs of all traditions and nationalities inviting them to come together for a weekend of festive, non-competitive singing in spectacular venues. The Festival is designed to offer choirs of all traditions an opportunity to come together for a summer event in some of Ireland's finest music venues and, without the demands of a competition, encourage choirs in the performance of their own repertoire. Performances with choristers from other countries is an added enjoyment of the Festival as is exploring the amazing locality and sites of the Wild Atlantic Way.
